I’m Back!
Finally my exams are all over and all there’s left to do for this semester is to wait for the grades.
I’ve now got 4 weeks of holidays and I am going to make the best of it – a trip to Vienna and another trip to Stockholm are planned. I’ve never been to Stockholm so I’m very excited. And in the true crafter’s spirit I’ve already googled “fabric stores Stockholm” and found quite a neat little list.
And I’ve also got a lot of sewing projects lined up. First of all, I’ll finish my first Frenchy Shoulder Bag, following a pattern by Amy Butler. Then, there’s the very cute Fortune Cookie Clutch by the great U-Handbag (love this shop – they’ve got great bag-making supplies with even better prices!). And I’ve got a few orders from friends stocking up – a few messenger bags and a custom-made bag. So, I’ll be quite busy
Big plans
This weekend I am so busy I sadly won’t have the time to spare to get out my sewing machine and start a new project. But with all these great tutorials around I have already composed a list of future projects I hope to realize soon. And as we all know, Christmas is also coming up sooner or later. Better start now…

Oh, and check out this site which features wonderful diy projects. It just makes me want to refurnish my flat, reuse old furniture, create decorative items…

One more thing:
I’ve been thinking for a long time about doing my first roast chicken as I have never tackled one of those before. I found this recipe that is labeled “foolproof” and might just be the one for me.
I’ll let you know if it worked for me too once I get the time and the occasion to try it out.
